LOVE THAT SEES CHRIST IN EVERY PERSON
As we celebrate the Feast of St Mother Teresa of Calcutta, we are reminded that holiness often begins with something very simple: seeing Jesus in the person before us. Mother Teresa recognized Christ especially in the poor, the abandoned, the sick, and the forgotten. Her life became a living Gospel of compassion, teaching us that love of God cannot remain only in words or prayer; it must become a loving presence, a helping hand, and a heart ready to serve.
Mother Teresa invites us to discover that even the smallest act done with great love can become an offering to God. We may not all be called to serve on the streets of Calcutta, but every family, parish, workplace, and community has people who need kindness, patience, forgiveness, encouragement, and care. When we open our eyes to those around us and serve them with tenderness, we encounter Christ Himself and allow His love to become visible through our lives.
