25th Ordinary Sunday

GRACE BEYOND MEASURE

In today’s Gospel, Jesus tells the parable of the workers in the vineyard. Some labour from the beginning of the day, while others arrive much later, yet the landowner treats them with unexpected generosity. Jesus reveals a God whose goodness cannot be measured by our calculations. His grace is not a reward that we earn by comparing ourselves with others; it is a gift flowing freely from His loving heart.

Comparison can easily steal our joy. We may wonder why others seem more blessed, more successful, or more fortunate than we are. Jesus invites us instead to rejoice in the goodness of God. The Lord never forgets our labour, but neither does He stop being generous to those who come to Him late. Christian discipleship means learning to trust God’s ways, celebrate His mercy toward others, and serve faithfully with grateful hearts.

May this Sunday’s Smart Liturgy resources help you reflect more deeply on the generous love of God and participate prayerfully in the Eucharist. Please share these resources with your friends, families, parishes, groups, and communities, so that together we may grow in gratitude for God’s grace and become joyful witnesses of His goodness.
