MARY OUR QUEEN, LEAD US TO THE KING
The Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary reminds us that true greatness in God’s Kingdom is found not in power, privilege, or honour, but in humble service. Mary is Queen because she belonged completely to Christ, the King of kings. From her generous “yes” at Nazareth to her faithful presence at the foot of the Cross, she allowed God’s will to shape her entire life. Her crown is the crown of faith, obedience, love, and self-giving.
The Gospel call to humility beautifully reflects Mary’s life: “Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.” Mary never sought greatness for herself; she simply magnified the Lord. Now exalted beside her Son, she continues to lead us to Jesus and to intercede for the Church and the world. May Mary, our Queen and Mother, teach us to serve with humility, trust God with courage, and allow Christ to reign in our hearts.
