THE TREASURE WORTH EVERYTHING
Today’s Gospel invites us to discover the Kingdom of Heaven as the greatest treasure of our lives. Jesus compares it to a treasure hidden in a field and to a pearl of great value. Those who find it are filled with such joy that they willingly let go of everything else. The Lord asks us to examine what we value most and whether Christ truly holds the first place in our hearts.
In the first reading, Solomon asks God for an understanding heart rather than riches or power. His prayer teaches us that true wisdom lies in knowing and choosing what is pleasing to God. Saint Paul reminds us that God works through every circumstance for the good of those who love Him. When we seek His Kingdom above all else, even our struggles can become part of His loving plan.
