A SHEPHERD AFTER GOD’S HEART
On August 4, the Church joyfully honours St. John Mary Vianney, the beloved Curé of Ars and patron of parish priests. A man of deep humility and burning zeal, he transformed a small village through prayer, penance, and untiring pastoral care. His life continues to inspire priests and lay faithful alike to embrace holiness, simplicity, and service with joy.
This feast is a time of gratitude for the gift of priesthood and a call to accompany our priests with love and prayer. It is also a moment to encourage young hearts to listen to God's call with courage and faith.
As we enter into this beautiful celebration, we are happy to share the Smart Liturgy resources to help you prepare and animate the liturgy with reverence, creativity, and community participation.
