FAITH IN HEAVEN, FREEDOM ON EARTH
On this blessed day, the Church rejoices in the glorious Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, taken body and soul into heaven as the first among the redeemed to share fully in the glory of her Son. Mary’s life of humility, obedience, and unwavering faith invites us to fix our hearts on God’s promises and to walk as faithful disciples in our daily lives.
At the same time, we also gratefully commemorate the independence of our beloved nation—a freedom won through sacrifice and sustained by unity. As we honour our Heavenly Mother and remember our Motherland, may these liturgical materials inspire us to grow in holiness, work for justice, and build a society rooted in peace and compassion.
