Corpus Christi

THE FEAST OF HIS REAL PRESENCE

The Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, known as Corpus Christi, is a celebration of the real, living, and life-giving presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist. It is a feast born from the heart of the Church’s desire to honour, reflect on, and adore the Sacrament that sustains her.

The Eucharist is not just a ritual we observe—it is the very mystery in which Christ becomes food for our journey, strength for our weakness, and communion for our mission. As we celebrate this feast, we are reminded that the Lord continues to walk with us, not in memory, but in sacramental reality. He gives Himself entirely—Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity—to nourish our souls and unite us as His Church.

Pentecost Sunday

COME, HOLY SPIRIT!

Pentecost marks the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles and the birth of the Church. What began as a fearful gathering in the upper room was transformed into a bold proclamation of the Risen Lord. The Spirit descended like tongues of fire, renewing their hearts and giving them a mission for the world.

Today, as we celebrate this solemn feast, we are invited to open ourselves once more to the same Spirit who animates, guides, and strengthens the Church. May this Pentecost awaken in us a fresh zeal for communion, mission, and witness in our times.
